The shuttle, compared honestly. Groome runs the only shared shuttle, at about $75 per person each way including a home pickup. For one or two travellers that’s cheaper than a private ride, and we’ll say so. From three people, our per-vehicle rate costs less. We track your inbound flight. Roughly one in five US flights lands late or is cancelled. When yours does, a shuttle seat has already left — and you’re rebooking at midnight. We already know before you land, and your driver is there whether you’re two hours behind or forty minutes early. Same rate either way.
You’re told what’s happening, when. An email the day before confirms your pickup schedule. Your driver contacts you as soon as you’re on the ground — text, call, or WhatsApp — and guides you to the exact meeting point. For St. Cloud pickups you get a text at least an hour ahead with the ETA. Ask for a live GPS link and you can watch the vehicle come to you, or share it with family.
The price doesn’t move. Flat-rate per vehicle, never per person. Is a shuttle cheaper than a private ride?
For one or two travellers, yes. Groome charges about $75 per person each way, including pickup at home. Our rate is per vehicle, so from three people a private ride costs less, and the gap widens with every extra person. The shuttle’s home pickup also means an early start, a wait at the St. Cloud depot and stops on the way, and a shuttle seat does not wait for a late flight. We go straight to the airport, and we do wait.
What if my flight is delayed or arrives early?
We track every inbound flight, so we already know before you land. Your driver will be waiting whether you are two hours late or forty minutes early, and your flat rate does not change either way. How will I know where to meet my driver at MSP?

Good drive
We really appreciated our pick up and he was a very professional driver. One note is we felt he was rushing us when we landed as my daughter wanted to pick up food once we exited the plane and was hungry and he was already circling the airport and phoning us when he had instructed that he was waiting for us to contact him before he headed toward the pick up point. I felt pressure from him to rush thru the airport and what if we had to check bags? Other than that he was very polite and courteous.

I’m sorry you felt rushed once you landed. I spoke with the driver and reviewed the messages, and the traffic that afternoon was unusually heavy — backed up nearly a mile.
Because drivers aren’t allowed to wait at the terminal doors, he was trying to time his arrival so he would be there when you were ready. In hindsight, he should have directed you to the upper-level arrivals area, where the go-around time is much shorter (typically 5–10 minutes instead of 20–30 near the baggage claim area). That would have given you more breathing room for food or baggage without the pressure.

The Best Car Service in Minnesota!
After hitting a deer and totaling our van, our family of 4, which includes a kindergartener and infant, we were panicked and struggling to find a ride out of our short term rental to get to a new rental car. It didn’t help that we had found a lake house in the middle of nowhere (2 hours north of Minneapolis), as we didn’t expect to get into a bind. I called everyone and anyone and thankfully stumbled upon citywide inc. Mark was quite gracious and hooked us up with an amazing driver, Clarence, who was so kind with our children and helped load up his van to the brim, as we had a lot of stuff to haul. We even had to change our destination last minute, which they accomodated on the fly. Clarence was even kind enough to sit with my family and the van while I hashed it out with the rental car company before they closed. Long story short, Mark, Clarence, and the rest of the team are nothing short of extraordinary. I would recommend them to anyone!

We had a group of 10 going to and from the airport for a week long cruise. Citywide communicated very clearly with an email confirmation the day before the ride and a text message 1 hour before. They picked us up at 2 different locations and were punctual, professional and friendly! Will for sure book again!
