Private, door-to-door rides between St. Cloud and MSP, priced per vehicle rather than per seat. One group per vehicle, no depot, and no stops for other passengers.
Daytime rates are $215 for a Basic Car (up to three people), $260 for a Black Car, and $280 for a van carrying up to nine. Rides between 8pm and 8am are charged at the after-hours rate shown in the table. The price is locked when you book and doesn’t change for traffic, weather or a late flight.
Mobility: none of our vehicles are wheelchair accessible, and every passenger needs to be able to get into and out of the vehicle with help if required. We carry folding wheelchairs, provide a step stool, and have a walker available.
- Same price in both directions, and the same whether you book tomorrow or a year out.
- Inbound flights tracked; a late landing moves the pickup, not the price.
- Car seats $10 each; extra pickup or drop-off stops quoted separately.
- Bathroom stops on the way are free.
- Pet-friendly in every vehicle, at no additional charge.

What the Shuttle’s Home Pickup Involves
Groome’s fare includes a pickup at home, but not a ride straight to the airport. Expect an early pickup, then a wait at the St. Cloud depot until the shuttle leaves, and then several stops on the way to MSP. Our ride leaves your door when you need to leave and goes straight to the airport, with no depot and no other passengers’ stops. That difference matters most on an early flight, because the shuttle has to start your day even earlier.
When the Shuttle Is the Better Deal
If you’re travelling alone or as a couple, and the shuttle’s timing suits your flight, the shuttle costs less and you should take it. The numbers turn in our favour at three travellers, and they also favour us when your flight lands late. A shuttle seat doesn’t wait for a delayed flight; we track your flight and wait.

St. Cloud to MSP Ride Cost – FAQs
What’s included in the flat rate?
A non-stop ride between MSP and your St. Cloud address in the vehicle you choose, door to door, with luggage. If someone needs a bathroom stop on the way, we pull over at no extra charge. Oversized bags are fine as long as they fit the vehicle you booked; if you are unsure, tell us when you book and we will put you in something bigger.
What costs extra?
Additional pickup or drop-off locations. One group going to one address is the flat rate; several stops across town is a different job and we price it as one. Car seats are $10 each. If you need the driver to wait — for an appointment or a flight you are not sure about — that depends on how long, so ask and we will quote it.
Is pricing per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, always. The number of passengers does not change the rate, which is what makes private transportation work out well for families, student groups, business travelers, and anyone with luggage.
Is a shuttle cheaper?
For one or two travellers, yes. Groome charges about $75 per person each way, including pickup at home. At three people that comes to about $225, more than our Basic Car at $215 for up to three, and a group of five pays about $375 against our van at $280 for up to nine. The other difference is a late flight: a shuttle seat does not wait, and we do.
Do prices change with traffic, weather, or flight delays?
No. Our rate is flat per vehicle, not a running meter, and there is no surge pricing. Heavy traffic, bad weather, or a late flight does not move it. We track your inbound flight, so if the timing changes we adjust the pickup rather than the price.
Does the price change if I book last minute?
No. A ride booked tomorrow costs the same as one booked a year out, and a booking made a year ahead is honoured at that price even if our rates rise in between. The only risk in booking late is availability, not cost.
Do you offer round-trip pricing?
Each leg is priced as a one-way flat rate, so booking both directions together costs the same as booking them separately. Ask when you request your quote and we will set both up at once.
Do you charge hourly?
No. Pricing is flat-rate for the whole ride. The only time we quote by duration is if you specifically ask the driver to wait somewhere.
