Why are there different prices for Ely and BWCA?
Ely city rides are in Zone 41. Many BWCA access points are deeper into the forest on narrower roads, so those trips fall into Zone 45 and are priced slightly higher. You will see exactly which zone applies to your trip before you confirm your booking.
How long does the drive usually take?
Most MSP ⇄ Ely trips run about 3.5–4 hours depending on traffic and weather. Trips to deeper BWCA entry points can be a little longer. We plan extra time for your group so you are not rushed getting to or from the airport.
